A couple of weeks back we went to Nashik for a few days. On the outskirts you can find the first indian sauvignon blanc vineyards, a project by Sula, the winery that has popularized wine in India. We spent the afternoon at the vineyards, then they introduced us to the whole production process, and finally we went to the tasting room to have different white, rose, red and sparkling wines. Cheese and wine on the terrace facing the vineyards is the perfect break from Mumbai rush!
One of my favorite things in India are flowers. They're everywhere, affordable and present on every special occasion. The most typical one are marigolds, in orange and yellow, and they use them in pujas, cars, bikes, door decorations, garlands... Here are some photos I took during Navratri festival, enjoy your weekend!
