Buenos días! El jueves publiqué en YouTube un video dedicado a mis tacones de leopardo favoritos, que podéis ver AQUÍ, y mientras lo editaba recordé algunos looks que he llevado combinando zapatos con ese estampado tan clásico. Así que he decidido recopilar algunos de mis favoritos y compartirlos en el post de hoy, espero que os gusten! 

Good morning! I published a video on YouTube about my favorite leopard shoes last Thursday, which you can watch HERE, and while I was editing I remembered some looks I've worn with shoes in this classic print. So I've put some of my favorites ones together to share them on this post, I hope you like them!

1. Con vaqueros y camisa blanca / With jeans and white shirt

Clásicos y más clásicos, combinando un vaquero y una camisa blanca con otro estampado casi tan clásico como el leopardo: el monogram de Louis Vuitton. Lo remato con mi toque favorito; unos labios rojos!

Classics and more classics, pairing a jean with a white shirt and another print almost as classic as leopard: Louis Vuitton monogram. I finish the look with my favorite touch; red lips!

2. Con un toque verde / With a pop of green

Los accesorios de leopardo quedan genial con una gabardina clásica, y aquí le he dado un toque de color con una falda verde, un color que ya os enseñé cómo combinar AQUÍ.

Leopard accessories go great with a classic trench, and here I have added a pop of color with a green skirt, a color I previously showed you how to wear HERE.

3. Con vestido rojo / With red dress

El rojo es un color que me encanta combinar con los zapatos de leopardo, ya sea en pequeños detalles como los labios o en un total look en rojo.

I love matching leopard shoes with red, either in small details like red lips or in a total red outfit.

4. Con vestido camel y chaqueta de cuero / With camel dress and leather jacket

El camel y el negro son colores que combinan genial entre ellos, y el estampado de leopardo los integra de maravilla. En este look equilibro el toque roquero de la chaqueta de cuero con unas delicadas medias de plumeti.

Camel and black go great together, and leopard print matches both wonderfully. Here I'm balancing the leather biker with delicate plumeti tights.

5. Con traje camel / With camel suit

Ya sabéis que soy una amante de las americanas camel, y un traje camel también es una gran opción. Este es bastante casual y el top corto le da un toque más actual, mientras que el bolso y los zapatos le dan ese punto elegante más clásico.

You know I love camel blazers, and a camel suit is also a great option. This one is pretty casual, the crop top adds a trendy touch, while the bag and shoes give that classic elegant touch.

6. Con jersey crudo y un toque rojo / With ecru sweater and red touch

Otro look con vaqueros, pero en este caso más sueltos, combinados con un jersey crudo y repitiendo toque rojo en el bolso.

Another outfit wearing jeans, but this time with an ecru sweater and the pop of red on the bag.

7. Con vestido camisero beige / With beige shirt dress

Para un look monocromático que vale para un domingo casual o para ir a trabajar los he combinado con este vestido camisero beige, otro clásico que siempre funciona.

For a monochrome look that works for a casual Sunday or a Monday at the office, I have matched them with a beige shirt dress, another timeless piece.

8. Con vestido negro de punto y chaqueta de cuero / With black dress and jacket

Un total look en negro es una base estupenda para jugar con los accesorios, en este caso zapatos y bufanda en estampado de leopardo y bolso en beige.

A total black look is a great base to play with accessories, in this case I have chosen leopard shoes and scarf, and beige bag.

9. Con gabardina y camiseta de rayas / With trench and stripes tee

Otra suma de clásicos que siempre funcionan juntos; vaqueros, camiseta de rayas y gabardina, un look que recrearía una y mil veces.

Another mix with classics that always work great; jeans, stripes t-shirt and trench coat, an outfit what I would recreate endless times.

10. Con chal de leopardo y boina / With leopard shawl and beret

Vuelvo a un look con vestido negro, pero en este caso con un resultado más femenino gracias a la boina y la bufanda llevada a modo de chal.

One more option with a black dress, but this time with a feminine vibe thanks to the beret and the scarf worn as a shawl.

Buenos días! Tras el éxito de mis 5 formas de combinar una chaqueta camel en otoño, hoy os traigo 6 propuestas combinando esta prenda tan clásica en diferentes looks para los meses de primavera. La americana que os mostré en otoño era un poquito más ajustada y en este caso he elegido una blazer vintage de YSL algo más amplia y de la sección de caballero. Me encantan las camisas y chaquetas masculinas para combinarlas con prendas femeninas o más entalladas y conseguir un equilibrio jugando con las proporciones.

Good morning! After all the love I got from my 5 ways to style a camel blazer in Fall, today I am sharing 6 new ways to style this classic item for the Spring months. The camel blazer I showed you in Fall was a regular fit, but  this time I've chosen an oversize vintage YSL jacket from the men department. I love masculine shirts and blazers to pair with femenine fitted items crating a prroportion balance.

Una americana camel o beige es una prenda neutra e ideal para rematar cualquier look protegíendonos de la brisa que suele haber en primavera a primera hora de la mañana o después de que se ponga el sol. Y por otra parte, podéis adaptar cualquiera de estos looks sustituyendo la chaqueta por un trench o por un abrigo camel si hace un poco más de fresco y el look seguira siendo un acierto!

A camel or beige blazer is a neutral basic perfect to add to any Spring outfit to keep us warm in the fresh mornings and evenings. And you can also adapt any of these outfits swapping the jacket forr a camel trench or coat if it gets cold, the outfit will also work!

Buenos días! Hoy seguimos celebrando los 10 años del blog, y echamos la vista atrás para hacer un repaso por mi 2018 y ver qué se cocía en mi armario por aquel entonces.

Good morning! Celebrations of this blog's 10th anniversary continue, and today we are looking back to my 2018, to see what went on with my closet during those months.

Empezamos el 2018 recién instalados en Washington, así que fue un año que dedicamos principalmente a conocer nuestra nueva ciudad: sus barrios, mercados, restaurantes y museos. Aunque también hicimos alguna escapada a los alrededores, descubriendo lugares como Alexandria, Annapolis, Baltimore, Ocean City, Richmond con sus alucinantes luces navideñas y el Parque Nacional de Shenandoah. Y viajamos a algunas ciudades maravillosas, algo más lejos, como Chicago, Nueva Orleans y mi adorada Nueva York. Así que en estos viajes utilicé bastantes looks casual, con pantalones vaqueros y deportivas, botas altas en invierno y shorts con sandalias planas en verano.

We had just moved to Washington when 2018 started, so it was a year we spent getting to know our new city: its neighborhoods, markets, restaurants and museums. But we also visited some nearby destinations, discovering places like Alexandria, Annapolis, Baltimore, Ocean City, Richmond and its amazing Christmas lights, and Shenandoah National Park.  And we traveled to wonderful cities, a little further, like Chicago, New Orleans or my beloved New York. Therefore, I wore lots of casual outfits, with jeans and sneakers, high boots in Winter and shorts and flat sandals in Summer.

Las frías temperaturas del invierno afectaron claramente a mi indumentaria, como podéis ver en mis looks abrigados aquí, aquí, aquí o aquí! Y algunas costumbres estadounidenses como visitar los huertos de calabazas o celebrar Halloween también inspiraron algunos de mis looks otoñales como este o este. La primavera fue bastante lluviosa, así que no me separé de mi trench, que podéis ver aquí y aquí. Y el verano además de caluroso fue muy húmedo, lo que hizo que los mini vestidos y ropa fresquita fuesen la única opción viable! Podéis recordar algunos looks aquí, aquí y aquí.

Cold temperatures during Winter really had an effect on my style, which you can see in my warm looks here, here, here or here! And some American traditions like pumpkin farms or Halloween also inspired some of my autumnal outfits like this one or this other. Spring was quite rainy, so I wore my trench coat a lot, which you can see here or here. And Summer was hot and very humid, limiting my options to mini dresses and light clothes. You can remember some of my outfits here, here and here.

En cuanto al look de hoy, he elegido este vestido de rayas fresquito y cómodo que estrené en 2018 durante un viaje a Nueva Orleans. Me lo vuelvo a poner cada verano, aparte de porque me gusta bastante y porque lo puedo combinar con los distintos colores del estampado, porque me trae muy buenos recurdos de aquellas vacaciones en familia. Lo he vuelto a combinar con las mismas sandalias, aunque han sufrido una pequeña transformación, el mismo bolso, sombrero y pañuelo, que es un pañuelo que también utilizé mucho es año y sigue siendo uno de mis favoritos. Las joyas han variado ligeramente con algunas nuevas incorporaciones, como mi colgante de perla que no me quito desde que me lo regalaron! 

And for today's outfit I have chosen this cool stripes dress that I first wore in 2018 during a trip to New Orleans. I wore it every Summer because, apart from how much I like it and how easy it is to pair with any color from thee print, but because it brings a lot of memories from that wonderful family vacation. I have paired it with thee same sandals, that went through a small update, the same bag, hat and scarf, which I actually wore a lot that year and it has become one of my favorites. I am wearing slightly different pieces of jewelry, like my pearl necklace, that I have been wearing non-stop since I got it!

Buenos días y bienvenidas a una nueva entrega de este viaje al pasado celebrando los 10 años del blog! Hoy retrocedemos hasta 2014 haciendo un repaso de las prendas y tendencias que llevé por aquel entonces y recreando uno de mis outfits favoritos de ese año.

Good morning and welcome to a new episode of this throwback seriees celebrating 10 years of this blog! Today we are rewinding  to 2014, looking back to the. items and trends I wore those days and recreating one of my favorite outfits of that year.

Los vaqueros están presentes cada año en nuestros armarios, pero ese año tuvieron un  protagonismo especial en mi indumentaria, podéis verlos pitillo y oscuros aquí, aquí y aquí, claros de corte boyfriend aquí y aquí, blancos rotos aquí, aquí y aquí, shorts como estos e incluso en versión peto aquí!

Jeans are always part of our closets, but that year they really were part of mine, you can see me wearing dark slims here, here and here, washed boyfriend jeans here and here, ripped white denim here, here and here, shorts like these ones and even overalls here!

En cuanto a los viajes que hice en 2014, descubrí el norte de Marruecos con mi amiga María y lo pasé de maravilla paseando unos looks muy boho. También tuve vacaciones mediterráneas por Málaga, Peñíscola y la Costa Brava, Y terminé el verano de la mejor forma posible recorriendo Puglia de la mano de mi amiga Rossella y con mis cangrejeras de piel favoritas que podéis ver aquí.

Regarding my 2014 trips, I discovered the north of Morocco during a wonderful time with my friend Maria, and I wore a lot of boho outfits. I also enjoyed some Meditrranean vacations in Málaga, Peñíscola and Costa Brava. And ended my Summer in the best possible way, touring Puglia thanks to my friend Rossella and wearing one of my favorite sandals.

También recorrí con mi familia muchos pueblos con encanto de España, como Patones de Arriba, visitando de paso los cerezos del Valle del Jerte y el Hayedo de la Pedrosa.

I also visited a few cute towns in Spain with my family, like Patones de Arriba, and some wonderful nature spots like the cherry trees at the Jerte Valley or the Hayedo de la Pedrosa in Fall.

My red mini dress, that I already showed you at the beginning of this series, was also part of my outfits in 2014, you can see it again here and here, in an eccentric outfit which could perfectly be part of Carrie Bradshaw's closet. The trench coat is another staple that stays every year, and this time I wore it this way.

Otro de mis favoritos de ese año fueron unos botines plateados de los que ya os hable en mi video sobre los 15 pares de zapatos que más me pongo, y ese año no les di descanso. Los tenéis aquí y aquí con otra de las tendencias de esa temporada, el neopreno! Que podéis ver aquí, aquí y aquí en doble ración.

One of my most worn shoes were a pair of silver Chelsea boots that I also mentioned in my Most worn shoes of all time video. You can see them here and here with another big trend of that year: Neoprene! Which you can also see here, here and here on a double dose.

Alguien se acuerda de la "bufamanta" de cuadros de Zara??? Fue el accesorio que arrasó y del que todavía hoy venden copias en puestos callejeros de Nueva York... Yo por supuesto tenía una y la podéís recordar aquí y aquí.

Anybody remembers the plaid scarf/blanket from Zara??? It was the accssory of the season and they keep selling replicas on the streets of New York up to this day... I had mine, of course, and you can see it here and here.

Otros dos favoritos, que además solía combinar a menudo, fueron estos pantalones florales que también podéis ver aquí, y que combinaba con mis tacones verdes, uno de los colores que vuelve a estar muy de moda esta primavera.

My floral pants also made a few apperances, you can check them here, and I used to pair them with my green pumps, on of the colors that are back this 2021.

El color azul también estuvo muy presente en mis looks, como podéis ver aquí, aquí, aquí y aquí, pero creo que en cuanto a colores la combinación ganadora fue el blanco y negro, que podéis ver en looks estampados aquí y aquí, con un toque de verde o con un toque rojo y finalmente en otro de mis favoritos, que ha estado a punto de convertirse en el look recreado de este mes porque es una mezcla que sigo utilizando bastante!

I also wore a lot of blue, like you can see here, here, here and here, but the winner color combination had to be black and white, that I styled here and here, with a green touch or with a pop of red, and finally in another favorite outfit here, which almost was the chosen one for this recreation, cause it is a mix that I keep wearing a lot.

Y llegamos al look de hoy, que es uno de mis favoritos de todos los tiempos! Ya hos había hablado de mi amor por los culottes en alguna ocasión, y aquí tenéis ideas para combinar este tipo de pantalones. El look original lo podéis ver aquí, y para recrearlo he elegido unos culottes parecidos, porque los originales ya se jubilaron, la misma americana retro de terciopelo, un sweater de cachemir gris bastante similar, zapatos de tacón en ante gris, una gorro con visera y las gafas de los años 70 que compré en una óptica vintage en Polignano a Mare durante mis vacaciones en Italia.

And finally, here is today's outfit, one of my all time favorites! I had already shared my love for culottes in previous posts, and here you have some inspiration to wear them. You can see the original outfit here. For this version I have chosen a similar culotte model, since the other ones retired a few months ago, the same velvet blazer, a grey cashmere top, grey suede pumps,  a newsboy cap and my glasses from the 70's that I got at a vintage optic in Polignano a Mare during my Italian vacation.
