Un nuevo hogar tiene infinitas posibilidades a la hora de decorarlo, y más hoy en día con toda la oferta de tiendas de hogar y decoración. Pero ya me conocéis, ir a la tienda, pagar y luego tener la misma lámpara que todos tus vecinos tampoco tiene mucha gracia. Así que hoy toca reciclar una lámpara, del trastero de mis padres a mi nuevo comedor!
A new home has endless options when it comes to decoration, specially nowadays with so many home and decor shops. But you know me, going to a shop, paying and having the same lamp all your neighbors have is not that funny. So it's time to recycle a chandelier, from my parents basement to my new dinning room!
Por supuesto cada uno puede personalizar la que tenga como más le guste, pero aquí os dejo mi transformación por si os sirve de inspiración ;) Feliz finde!
Of course you can customize whatever you have however you prefer, but here is mine so you can use it as an inspiration ;) Happy weekend!
Necesitas / You need:
- Una lámpara / A chandelier
- Pantallas nuevas / New lampshades
- Pintura en spray / Spray paint
- Papel para cubrir el suelo / Paper to cover the floor
- Papel de aluminio / Foil paper
- Bombillas nuevas / New lightbulbs
- Pompones y pasamanería / Pompoms and Passemanterie
- Pistola termoselladora / Glue gun
- Un novio alto y con caja de herramientas / A tall boyfriend with a tools box
1. Desmonta la lámpara y tira las pantallas viejas / Dismantle the lamp and toss the old shades
2. Cubre bien el suelo y los casquillos y pinta la lámpara con el spray. Deja secar, dale la vuelta y sigue pintando / Cover the floor and the bulbs base and paint the lamp with the spray. Let dry, turn it over and keep painting.
3. Mientras se seca la lámpara, pega una tira de pompones en el bajo de la pantalla / While the paint dries, glue some pompoms to the lampshade
4. Sigue decorando con algo de pasamanería / Continue decorating with passemanterie
5. Repite con el resto de pantallas / Repeat with all the lampshades
6. Cuando la lámpara esté seca coloca cada pantalla en su sitio / Once the paint has dried, put each lampshade where it belongs
7. Enrosca las bombillas / Put the lightbulbs
8. Desconecta la corriente y cuélgala en su sitio. Vuelve a conectar la luz / Cut the power and hang it in its place. Connect the power back.
A disfrutar de lámpara nueva ! ! ! / Enjoy your new lamp ! ! !
