Postcards from Antelope Canyon

By Sugar Lane - Monday, June 27, 2022

A few weeks ago I told you about my Grand Canyon visit. You can admire this amazing canyon from many view points,  but we chose the remote Horseshoe Bend, since it was the closest to Antelope Canyon, which had been in my bucket list for a while. And it did not dissapointed,  I actually liked it better than the Grand Canyon! So here are some pictures of this shape, light and color party!

The narrow canyon is below this ground, a few miles away from Page town. You can only get there by van with one of the authorized tour agencies managed by the Navajos, who take care of the canyon.

As you enter the canyon, the colors of the stone walls change reflecting the light, from the bright orange under the blue sky, to red and pink shades that mix with lilacs, purples and even indigo blue.

There were not many visitors when we were there so, after walking through the main canyon, our guide took us to a second canyon nearby, which was a little harder to walk in, but absolutely worth it. It was so narrow in some parts that there was hardly any space to place our feet, and you have to go up and down almost climbing at some point, but I could manage. with some helping hands...

A unique experience I reccommend to live in. person without a doubt. What do you think? Had you heard about Antelope Canyon? Would you like to visit?
