Montparnasse & Barrio Latino

By Sugar Lane - Friday, December 16, 2011

The Jardin du Luxembourg is more charming than the Tuileries, at least during this season, even when the small sailing boats are not there.

Anyways, walking all over Montparnasse and the Latin neighbourhood is delightful, and the perfect ending is tasting any of their specialités at Rue Mouffetard or having a cup of coffee at the lovely square of the Contrescarpe.

In the afternoon I visited Galleries Lafayette, with its colourful stained glass dome and the great view from the rooftop to the Eiffel tower and Garnier opera.
