DIY: Frayed hem jeans

By Sugar Lane - Sunday, September 27, 2020

Good morning! Today I'm sharing a DIY that looks easy, but you actually need to know how to do it properly. I'm talking about cutting the hem of your jeans and getting that frayed effect for a casual vibe. I love the contrast of pairing it with a pair of heels, and I had been thinking about cutting my denims for a while, but I know from previous experience that is not as easy as cutting them with a pair of scissors. You don't get the frayed effect just like that, so today I'm sharing my tips to cut them on the perfect spot and getting your dreamed frays.

Necesitas / You need:
  • Unos pantalones vaqueros / A pair of jeans
  • Jaboncillo o lápiz / Fabric chalk or a pen
  • Tijeras / Scissors
  • Un metro / Tailor tape
  • Un rallador de cocina / A grater
  • Pinzas de depilar / Tweezers
