Cristóbal Balenciaga, Real Jardín Botánico de Madrid

Buenos días! Hoy toca una exposición muy especial, que puede que ya hayáis visto en persona o en mis redes sociales, pero os la quería compartir también por aquí para que la veáis con más calma.
Good morning! Today I'm sharing a very special exhibition, which you might have seen in person or in my social media, but I wanted to share it here so that you can take a calmed look.
Si sois amantes de la moda, seguramente ya sabréis que este fin de
semana se ha estrenado en Disney+ una serie que cuenta la historia del
diseñador Cristóbal Balenciaga. Pues bien, para la serie se han recreado
muchos de los icónicos vestidos y trajes del diseñador vasco, gracias
al trabajo de Bina Daigeler y Pepo Ruiz Dorado, y estos se han expuesto
en el Real Jardín Botánico de Madrid hasta ayer mismo. Pero si no habéis
podido asistir, os dejo unas imágenes a continuación.
If you are a fashion lover, you might know Disney+ premiered a series based on Cristobal Balenciaga life. For this series they needed to recreate many of Balenciaga's iconic dresses and suits, and Bina Daigeler and Pepo Ruiz Dorado made a great job. Those costumes were exhibited at Madrid Royal Botanical Garden until yesterday. So, in case you missed it, here are some images.
Además de los vestidos, en la exposición también había recreaciones de los llamativos sombreros, algunas joyas y tarjetas e invitaciones de la casa Balenciaga, así como proyecciones de fragmentos de la serie, donde se pueden apreciar las prendas en movimiento, y que os recomiendo que veáis!
Apart from dresses, the exhibition also shown a selection of unique hats, some jewelry and cards and invitations from the maison Balenciaga, along with proyections of fragments from the series, where you can see the clothes in action, that I recommend watching!

DeleteYo me quedé con las ganas de ir y es que al final en enero estuve 4 días en casa. Los diseños son maravillosos y la serie la empezaré este fin de semana.

DeleteOh WOW how lucky to get to see this in person. Just stunning. I went to an exhibit similar to this in Paris but it revolved around clothing from the last 100 years that is used for sports. It was very cool.

The models are brilliant, I haven't seen the series, what a shame!

ReplyDeleteYo me quedé sin verla pero me consuela que vi muchos de ellos en la exposición del Thyssen y que siempre nos quedará el museo.
La serie la he disfrutado bastante, un hombre fiel a sus principios y muy valiente.
