Buenos días! Las que me conocéis sabéis que yo soy más de tacones que de deportivas, pero según en qué ocasiones, las deportivas son una gran opción. Hoy vengo a hablaros del último modelo que ha entrado en mi armario, las Nike Air Jordan 1 en su versión mid. Unas zapatillas clásicas que tienen su origen en 1984 y que son la obsessión de los coleccionistas de deportivas. La gran variedad de combinaciones  de  colores y ediciones especiales que se agotan en minutos y se revenden por mucho más ha llevado a este modelo a  ser el más codiciado. Yo tenía echado el ojo a varias opciones muy llamativas, pero como me encantan las deportivas clásicas en blanco, acabé eligiéndolas en este color que va con todo.

Good morrning! If you know me you know that I am more into heels than into sneakers, but depending on the ocassion, sneakers are a great choice. Today I am showing you the latest pairr in my closet; Nike Air Jorrdan 1 in their mid version. These classic shoes have their origin in 1984 and are the obsession of sneaker lovers and collectors. The wide range of color combinations and special editions that are sold out in minutes, and resold for much more, have turned this shoe into a unicorn. I had several colorful options in my mind, but since I love white classic sneakers I ended up getting them in white, which goes with everything.

Y una vez en mi arrmario llegó la pregunta: Cómo las combino? Yo siempre he usado Reebok Royal o Adidas Stan Smith o Superstar, pero las Nike Air Jordan tienen un aire diferente, así que quería explorar nuevas formas de llevarlas, saliéndome del look de vaqueros y camiseta que siempre uso para mis viajes. Tras un mes experimentando con ellas, os traigo 5 formas diferentes de combinar estas deportivas:

And once in my closset I had a new dilema: How do I style them? I have always worn Reebok Royal and Adidas Stan Smith or Superstar, but Nike Air Jordan have a cool vibe, so I wanted to experiment beyond my comfort zone, with something different from my jeans and t-shirt trip uniform. So, after a month enjoying them on my feet, here are 5 different ways to style these sneakers:

1. Con un vestido / With a dress

Para darles un toque más femenino las he combinado con un vestido violeta sencillo y bolso y cazadora vaquera en blanco. Un look de primavera o verano cómodo y fresco.

For a feminine touch I have worn them with a simple violet dress and white bag and denim jacket. A fresh and comfy Spring or Summer outfit.

2. Con pantalón de pinzas / With wide leg pleated pants

Para un look un poco más vestido pero informal me encanta combinarlas con estos pantalones de pinzas, ajustados con un pañuelo de seda a la cintura, un sweater crudo y bolso neutro.

For a dressier vibe I love wearing them with these pleated pants, cinched with a silk scarf, and neutral sweater and bag.

3. Con leggings / With leggings

Para un look un poco más deportivo las llevo con leggings, camiseta anudada y calcetines por fuera, que le dan ese toque retro. Remato el outfit con una camisa a modo de chaqueta, para equilibrar el toque casual y dar una nota de color.

For a sporty outfit I am wearing them with leggings, cropped t-shirt and socks over the leggings, for a retro vibe. I have topped it all with a shirt worn as a jacket, to balance the casual look and add a pop of color.

Dado que mis Jordans son abotinadas, hay que elegir bien los calcetines con las que las llevamos. Estos me parecen de lo más divertidos, son un diseño de Keith Haring para Calzedonia. 

Since my Jordans are no low-top, the choice of socks is an important matter. I think this Keith Haring design for Calzedonia is really cool.

4. Con culottes / With culottes

Habéis echado de menos mis culottes blancos? Pues ya están de vuelta. Para un look casual de primavera he creado este total look en blanco con unos de mis vaqueros favoritos, una camiseta con mensaje divertido, bolso en blanco y calcetines con flor de crochet. 

Did you missed my white culottes? Cause they're back. I've gone for a total white Spring look with one of my favorite jeans, a fun message t-shirt, white bag and socks with a crochet flower.

5. Con jeans y americana / With jeans and a blazer

Por último, un look que ya os enseñé aquí, con vaqueros clásicos y americana camel, volviendo a jugar con ese equilibrio de casual y formal.

Buenos días y bienvenidas a una nueva entrega de este viaje al pasado celebrando los 10 años del blog! Hoy retrocedemos hasta 2014 haciendo un repaso de las prendas y tendencias que llevé por aquel entonces y recreando uno de mis outfits favoritos de ese año.

Good morning and welcome to a new episode of this throwback seriees celebrating 10 years of this blog! Today we are rewinding  to 2014, looking back to the. items and trends I wore those days and recreating one of my favorite outfits of that year.

Los vaqueros están presentes cada año en nuestros armarios, pero ese año tuvieron un  protagonismo especial en mi indumentaria, podéis verlos pitillo y oscuros aquí, aquí y aquí, claros de corte boyfriend aquí y aquí, blancos rotos aquí, aquí y aquí, shorts como estos e incluso en versión peto aquí!

Jeans are always part of our closets, but that year they really were part of mine, you can see me wearing dark slims here, here and here, washed boyfriend jeans here and here, ripped white denim here, here and here, shorts like these ones and even overalls here!

En cuanto a los viajes que hice en 2014, descubrí el norte de Marruecos con mi amiga María y lo pasé de maravilla paseando unos looks muy boho. También tuve vacaciones mediterráneas por Málaga, Peñíscola y la Costa Brava, Y terminé el verano de la mejor forma posible recorriendo Puglia de la mano de mi amiga Rossella y con mis cangrejeras de piel favoritas que podéis ver aquí.

Regarding my 2014 trips, I discovered the north of Morocco during a wonderful time with my friend Maria, and I wore a lot of boho outfits. I also enjoyed some Meditrranean vacations in Málaga, Peñíscola and Costa Brava. And ended my Summer in the best possible way, touring Puglia thanks to my friend Rossella and wearing one of my favorite sandals.

También recorrí con mi familia muchos pueblos con encanto de España, como Patones de Arriba, visitando de paso los cerezos del Valle del Jerte y el Hayedo de la Pedrosa.

I also visited a few cute towns in Spain with my family, like Patones de Arriba, and some wonderful nature spots like the cherry trees at the Jerte Valley or the Hayedo de la Pedrosa in Fall.

My red mini dress, that I already showed you at the beginning of this series, was also part of my outfits in 2014, you can see it again here and here, in an eccentric outfit which could perfectly be part of Carrie Bradshaw's closet. The trench coat is another staple that stays every year, and this time I wore it this way.

Otro de mis favoritos de ese año fueron unos botines plateados de los que ya os hable en mi video sobre los 15 pares de zapatos que más me pongo, y ese año no les di descanso. Los tenéis aquí y aquí con otra de las tendencias de esa temporada, el neopreno! Que podéis ver aquí, aquí y aquí en doble ración.

One of my most worn shoes were a pair of silver Chelsea boots that I also mentioned in my Most worn shoes of all time video. You can see them here and here with another big trend of that year: Neoprene! Which you can also see here, here and here on a double dose.

Alguien se acuerda de la "bufamanta" de cuadros de Zara??? Fue el accesorio que arrasó y del que todavía hoy venden copias en puestos callejeros de Nueva York... Yo por supuesto tenía una y la podéís recordar aquí y aquí.

Anybody remembers the plaid scarf/blanket from Zara??? It was the accssory of the season and they keep selling replicas on the streets of New York up to this day... I had mine, of course, and you can see it here and here.

Otros dos favoritos, que además solía combinar a menudo, fueron estos pantalones florales que también podéis ver aquí, y que combinaba con mis tacones verdes, uno de los colores que vuelve a estar muy de moda esta primavera.

My floral pants also made a few apperances, you can check them here, and I used to pair them with my green pumps, on of the colors that are back this 2021.

El color azul también estuvo muy presente en mis looks, como podéis ver aquí, aquí, aquí y aquí, pero creo que en cuanto a colores la combinación ganadora fue el blanco y negro, que podéis ver en looks estampados aquí y aquí, con un toque de verde o con un toque rojo y finalmente en otro de mis favoritos, que ha estado a punto de convertirse en el look recreado de este mes porque es una mezcla que sigo utilizando bastante!

I also wore a lot of blue, like you can see here, here, here and here, but the winner color combination had to be black and white, that I styled here and here, with a green touch or with a pop of red, and finally in another favorite outfit here, which almost was the chosen one for this recreation, cause it is a mix that I keep wearing a lot.

Y llegamos al look de hoy, que es uno de mis favoritos de todos los tiempos! Ya hos había hablado de mi amor por los culottes en alguna ocasión, y aquí tenéis ideas para combinar este tipo de pantalones. El look original lo podéis ver aquí, y para recrearlo he elegido unos culottes parecidos, porque los originales ya se jubilaron, la misma americana retro de terciopelo, un sweater de cachemir gris bastante similar, zapatos de tacón en ante gris, una gorro con visera y las gafas de los años 70 que compré en una óptica vintage en Polignano a Mare durante mis vacaciones en Italia.

And finally, here is today's outfit, one of my all time favorites! I had already shared my love for culottes in previous posts, and here you have some inspiration to wear them. You can see the original outfit here. For this version I have chosen a similar culotte model, since the other ones retired a few months ago, the same velvet blazer, a grey cashmere top, grey suede pumps,  a newsboy cap and my glasses from the 70's that I got at a vintage optic in Polignano a Mare during my Italian vacation.

Good morning! After all the love I got from my 5 ways to style a camel blazer in Fall, today I am sharing 6 new ways to style this classic item for the Spring months. The camel blazer I showed you in Fall was a regular fit, but  this time I've chosen an oversize vintage YSL jacket from the men department. I love masculine shirts and blazers to pair with femenine fitted items crating a prroportion balance.

Una americana camel o beige es una prenda neutra e ideal para rematar cualquier look protegíendonos de la brisa que suele haber en primavera a primera hora de la mañana o después de que se ponga el sol. Y por otra parte, podéis adaptar cualquiera de estos looks sustituyendo la chaqueta por un trench o por un abrigo camel si hace un poco más de fresco y el look seguira siendo un acierto!

A camel or beige blazer is a neutral basic perfect to add to any Spring outfit to keep us warm in the fresh mornings and evenings. And you can also adapt any of these outfits swapping the jacket forr a camel trench or coat if it gets cold, the outfit will also work!
