Buenos días! Siguiendo con la celebración del décimo aniversario del blog hoy retrocedemos al 2016 para hacer un repaso por mis looks de ese año.

Good morning! We continue celebrating this blog 10th anniversary and today we are going back to 2016 to check out my closet during that time. 

I actually did not post many outfits from 2016, it was a very busy year at work so I use every day off to explore some destination. From that year you can see my trips to Paris, Edinburgh and Porto, I also went to Italy but I don't think I shared it here. And I also visited many places in Spain: Toledo, Aranjuez, La Alberca, Mogarraz, Manzanares el Real, la Mancha... And we also did some gastronomy discoveries, visiting Cenador de Amós in Villaverde de Pontones, Montia in El Escorial, the Celler de Can Roca in Girona, Angelo Corvitto's ice cream factory at the Costa Brava, Tolosana pastry workshop in Huesca and Castillo de Canena olive fields in Jaen.

Además de viajes y comida rica, también publiqué bastantes DIYs, fue un año en el que estuve especialmente creativa, ya fuese para temas de plantas como este o este, zapatos alegres como estos o estos, bolsos como este, cosas de lana tejida con los brazos, un espejo sol, cacharritos para el baño, organización de la cocina como esta, posavasos, mantelitos y hasta una mesa de centro! Y también seguí diseñando, la colección Sugar Lane Design de ese otoño sigue siendo una de mis favoritas! Podéis ver los 4 looks principales aquí, aquí, aquí y aquí.

Apart from traveling and eating well, I posted a lot of DIY projects, looks like I was very inspired that year. I created plant decorations like this or this other, fun shoes like these or these, bags like this one, I knitted with my arms, made a sunburst mirror, bathroom items, tins to organize the kitchen, coasters, place mats and even a coffee table! Y also designed clothes, Sugar Lane Design collection from that Fall is still one of my favorites! You can see the four main looks here, here, here and here. 

 En cuanto a mis modelitos, podríamos destacar looks sencillos, algo de azul marino como en este vestido o con este jersey, también toques de rojo como aquí o aquí, algunos toques plateados como este jersey o estos zapatos, y bastante burdeos, que podéis ver en este look con culottes, aquí con una camisa barroca, o en los accesorios del look que versiono hoy.

And regarding outfits, it was mainly simple ones, with colors like navy blue in this dress or this sweater, touches of red here and there, some silver details like this sweater or these shoes, and plenty of burgundy, that you can see in this culotte outfit, here with a baroque blouse or on the accessories of the look chosen for today's recreation.

El look en cuestión lo llevé durante una escapada con mi familia a La Alberca, y es una combinación que sigo repitiendo y versionando año tras año: Falda plisada, top corto y tacón bajo. Y los tonos beige, rosas y burdeos ya sabéis que me van bien siempre. 

This outfit is something I wore during a family trip to La Alberca, but the mix is something I wear a lot: Pleated skirt, crop top and low heels. And you know how much I love beige, pink and burgundy shades.

La falda la corté hace unos años en un arrebato porque para otro outfit me gustaba más corta, y luego me arrepentí... aun así la seguí utilizando hasta que murio de vieja. El top lo sigo teniendo y es uno de mis imprescindibles cuando viajo porque sirve igual para un look boho más casual o para salir a cenar con un buen tacón. Tacones burdeos creo que tengo 3 pares y es porque les doy bastante uso, los más bajos son los del look original, los de hoy son medios, y los más altos los podéis ver en la foto de mi perfil en Instagram. El pañuelo de seda llo tengo en Madrid, así que he utilizado uno similar pero anudándolo de otra forma. Y por último el bolso, que también se quedó en Madrid, así que lo he sustituido por mi maravilla de Chanel vintage, que creo que va estupendo con el resto del conjunto. Tengo pendiente enseñaros cómo restauré este bolso, así que lo veréis pronto por mi canal de YouTube!

 I cut the hem of the skirt some years ago cause it looked better for a different outfit, and then I regretted it... but I kept wearing it until it died of natural causes. The top is the same one, which is actually one of my key pieces when I travel, cause I can style it for a casual boho outfit or dress it up with heels for a date night. I think I own 3 pairs of burgundy heels, the lower ones are the ones on the original outfit, the medium ones are the ones I'm wearing here, and the high heels are on my Instagram profile if you want to check them out. The silk scarf stayed in Madrid, so I'm wearing a similar one tied in a different way. And last, but not least, the original bag is also in Madrid, but I'm wearing my precious vintage Chanel, that I think is a better match for this outfit. Hoy os traigo un post de inspiración para el otoño, concretamente dedicado a las medias, uno de esos accesorios que me encantan en todas sus versiones y que son ideales para el entretiempo. A lo largo de los años he experimentado mucho con medias de colores, casi siempre opacas, ya que me gusta cómo quedan y abrigan un poco más, así que hoy os traigo una recopilación de looks con medias de diferentes colores.

Good morning! Today I'm sharing some Fall inspiration, focusing on tights, one of those accessories that I love and they're perfect for transition weather. I have experimented a lot with color tights over the years, usually opaque, since I love the look and they're a little warmer, so here is a recap of outfits wearing color tights.

 1. MEDIAS GRANATES / BURGUNDY TIGHTS

El granate es un color que me encanta, y en otoño invade mi armario. Aquí tenéis algunos looks con medias granates combinadas con prendas grises:

Burgundy is a color I love, and it conquers my wardrobe every Fall.  Here you have some looks styled in grey:

La mezcla de granate y negro también funciona muy bien:

Burgundy and black work great together too:

Y las medias granates también se pueden combinar con más colores, texturas y estilos, como un vestido de tapicería con cazadora vaquera o un panrtalón culotte cohn poncho de ganchillo:

You can also style them with more colors, textures and styles, like a tapestry dress with a denim jacket or with culottes and a crochet poncho:

Para looks con faldas también quedan genial, yo las uso con faldas plisadas y también con faldas de seda:

They also look wonderful with skirts, I usually wear them with pleated skirts or silk pieces:

Para looks más casual ideales para patear la ciudad las medias también son muy cómodas y se pueden combinar con botas estilo UGG o con deportivas:

For a more casual style to roam the city you can pair them with UGG style boots or sneakers:

2. MEDIAS ROSAS / PINK TIGHTS

Las medias rosas se pueden combinar con faldas románticas para looks con aire de bailarina, o con una falda estampada que lleve un color similar para un look más atrevido:

Pink tights can be styled with romantic skirts for a ballerina vibe, or with a printed skirt for a bold outfit:
 

Para equilibrar el rosa bebé y dar un aire menos infanttil también me encanta combinarlas con abrigos tipo sastre:

You can also balance the childish pink vibe with a tailored coat:

3. MEDIAS AZUL PASTEL / BABY BLUE TIGHTS

En la misma linea de las medias rosas están las medias azul bebé, que se pueden combinar con prendas blancas o crema, y también quedan genial con negro:

In a similar style there are also baby blue tights, perfect to match with white or cream, and also with black:

4. MEDIAS AZUL KLEIN / KLEIN BLUE TIGHTS

 

Si te atreves con un color más llamativo, las medias azulonas son muy originales, y quedan muy bien con rojo y con negro.

If you are in for a bolder color, klein tights are quite unique, and they go really well with red and with black.

 

 

5. MEDIAS AZUL MARINO / NAVY TIGHTS

Para un color más clásico puedes decantarte por unas medias azul marino, perfectas para looks en azul con falda, vestido y mono:

Navy tights are a classic choice, perfect for looks in blue with skirts, dresses or jumpsuits:

 

Las medias azul marino también son un básico estupendo para looks con abrigos y capas:

 

Navy tights are also a great basic to layer with coats and capes:

 

Si viajas en época lluviosa las puedes combinar con botas, y siempre ocupan menos en la maleta que unos pantalones:

 

If you travel in a rainy climate you can style them with boots, and they take less space than pants in your suitcase:

6. MEDIAS ROJOS / RED TIGHTS

Las medias rojas son una apuesta mucho más atrevida, puedes combinarlas con un sweater en el mismo color y añadir una prenda que rompa en algún color neutro:

Red tights are much more flashy, you can style them with a sweater in the same color and add some neutral garment to break the monochromatic outfit:

7. MEDIAS NARANJAS / ORANGE TIGHTS

Las medias naranjas también aportan un toque de color muy original, y perfecto para el otoño:

 

Orange tights also add a cool pop of color, perfect for Fall:

 

8. MEDIAS ROJO COBRIZO / RUSTY RED TIGHTS

Si no te atreves con un naranja brillante, también hay tonos de naranjas cobrizos más apagados:

 

If bright orange is not your cup of tea, there are darker rusty shades:

 

 

9. MEDIAS MORADAS / PURPLE TIGHTS

El morado no es un color que se lleve siempre, pero queda genial combinado con neutros como grises y marrones o cremas:

Purple is not such a classic color, but it works well with neutrals like greys, browns and creams:

 

 

10. MEDIAS VERDES / GREEN TIGHTS

Para looks casual y excursiones a la naturaleza también puedes usar unas medias marrones con deportivas o botas de montaña:

For a casual style and nature trips you can wear brown tights with sneakers or trekking boots:

12. MEDIAS GRISES / GREY TIGHTS

Las medias grises son otra opción neutra que queda genial con burdeos o con colores pastel:

 

Grey tights are one more neutral option, and it works great with burgundy or pastel colors:

And of course you can also pair them with outfits in black, cream, grey or silver:

13. MEDIAS NEGRAS / BLACK TIGHTS

Y por último llegamos a las medias negras. Me encanta ponerlas con vestido de punto, botas y cazadora de cuero:

And finally, we have black tights. I love wearing them with a knit dress, boots and leather jackets:

Y quedan genial con americanas y abrigos de doble botonadura:

And work well with double breasted blazers and coats:
